Great concept, but the design in not quite there.
In concept this is exactly what I was looking for, the ability to switch to slide for parts of songs in a live setting. But in application, I found the slide to be too heavy and it didn't really spin that smoothly on the inserts. It's still easier/faster to put my slide on a bar stool or mic stand and pick it up/drop it when needed. I think the slide needs to be a lighter material and slightly shorter to accomplish what it's advertised for. Also, I don't have thick/big/fat fingers but had to use the largest insert. It's an interesting design. However, the main selling point is also the thing that will get a little frustrating. The idea of being able to turn it around so you can play with whatever finger you're using, is an interesting concept. The problem is that it is very hard to control, since it spins so freely. A much better slide
This is a great design, which allows the player to pick from among 4 plastic inserts, based on ring size. This then holds the slide on the ring finger, and allows the brass slide to pivot on the insert, so that you can use the ring finger to play individual notes and chords, then pivit to slide playing, then pivot back. It’s about the most flexible design of slide that I have ever seen, and definitely one I am quite happy to have!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
