Durable, Efficient, Quiet.....
Reliability, quiet operation, flow rate, energy consumption are all reasons to buy this pump. I am replacing an Eheim 1060 that has provided continuous service for 25years. I would have replaced the impeller parts on the 1060 but for about $20 more I got the newer version that pumps more water & consumes about 10W more. I cleaned the pre-filter with each water change (once a month), but only cleaned the impeller a few times in 25yrs. The impeller may have lasted longer if I had been better with cleaning the entire pump. Impeller magnet had blistered and gotten noisy.......what do you want after 25yrs. Expecting this pump to last the rest of my life......! Great product !Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
