This book has detailed pictures of each bread in process!! It is one thing to have a recipe that works, but in bread baking each bread needs different handling, kneading, folding, etc. and this book actually shows all of these steps with recipes that work. I highly recommend this book, and for that matter the series for anyone that cares about learning to cook the "right" way. You have your Rheinhart books, your King Arthur but this is the book that has done it for me. You can search the Internet and find good pictures on the bread making process. Maybe even find some good videos, but this is one pladce that shows them all. Ever wondered what a shaggy dough looks like? It is here. This is not just a beginners book. I'm sure The experts will find a bread they haven't made. There are recipes in here that my mother made and have fallen out of favor with time, yep in here... it is worth a buy.
