This is a fabulous CD, providing more info about hip anatomy and its "practical" consequences than any other yoga DVD I've ever bought. I bought this as a third copy to have on hand to loan to friends. The relation of the long-held poses to fascia, ligaments and the autonomic nervous system are less clear from the perspective of western medicine, but nonetheless palpable. There is apparently also a growing body of support in the literature. I'd strongly encourage exploring the contents of the disks to see what works for you.
