This UMPC is a neat concept and Sony has executed the design well, but the screen could have been designed a little bit bigger to make it more readable. There is certainly enough real estate in the screen panel to install a new bigger LCD. It runs XP, Vista, 7, 8 and 10 (8 and 10 needs min 1 GB ram). I've installed XP, 7, and 10 together in tripleboot configuration. Sony does not have the launch panel driver on their site, only way to get it and make the launch button work is through the recovery partition. If the partition is overwritten then your out of luck. Still, it's a very interesting micro PC that's also a movie star!

I have tested almost all of the UMPC's in that category. The VGN-UX280 (and similar other configurations) is by far the most impressive. Bluetooth, WIFI, WWAN, Wired Ethernet, Dual camera, Touchscreen, Keyboard, Fingerprint sensor, USB, in the size of a modern camera.... Not mentioning all the great Sony apps. It's unbeatable!!! With an SD card slot instead of Sony magic gate it would be the ultimate.
