Whimsical and Creative
If you find cats funny and charming, and if you like an amazingly well-conceived parody, you may really enjoy this book. Everything is fictional and photoedited but done in an extremely convincing manner. For example in "Chapter I - An Historical Perspective," the authors show pictures of Egyptian cat mummies, cat hieroglyphs, and perfectly annotated fake museum notes. There are fake biographies of famous cat artists, like Minnie, the Abstract Expressionist and Ginger, the Neo-Synthesist! The pages are filled with beautiful images and hilarious descriptions.
