Installed on my 1974 C-10 the physical installation was fairly straight forward however when you get closer to the finish meaning calibration selection and final adjustments things become more complicated. This maybe due in part because of the instruction sheet provided, I had to read each & every section several times to make sure I was doing it right. Dakota does what they can but you need to remember there's a lot of functions to your car's dash.
Only recently installed it does provide accurate information & good looks, the silver background & LED lighting are awesome. The only real change is that I'd reduce the 160 mph speedometer down to 140 or 120mph in favor of speed notation every 10mph instead of every 20mph. Not many of us hangout at 160mph, at least for long...
Finally, it would be a good idea to pop for the shift selector module even at an extra cost & time to install. This would provide full lighting at night to see what gear you're in.
