I own three or four of these now, since you can get a set of FL primes going for almost nothing. I find the decades-old FLs to be magic on the NX1 sensor. (The only pricey FLs are the wider-than-1.8 aperture glass, and the 85 1.8 and the really special, amazing 19mmR wide, which is a monster for shooting wide without a wide-distorted look). Some older FLs have a flat rear surface - some have sort of a sloping "ramp", a carryover from the rangefinder era. And there are two styles of FL converter, this one, which uses a screw-in post to hit the auto-diaphragm tab, and some have that post as a tab that's cast into the ring. The "ramp" back glass is a problem - the adapter won't mount as-is. The tab or post is to trigger the aperture setting, but FL glass also has a ring on the lens to do the same thing. So if you have a ramp-back lens, either grind off the tab, or - buy this one and just unscrew it - it pops right out. You don't need it. Then enjoy the subtle magic of 1960's lens coatings on super-sharp modern sensors. They're sharp as hell where you want sharp, but they have a glorious sort of diffused look in the soft areas, and a slightly muted tonality with a beautiful rendering of blues and greens. watch for a "murky" feel to the shadows and take care with fill light. Not for everything, but great for music video, narrative or fashion/beauty gigs.Read full review

It's very solid and well built with a very handy aperture control ring. Works expecially well for the Samsung NX cameras with focus peaking as the AF isn't compatible due to no electronic connections. Some aperture markings would be very useful tho, but other than that it is absolutely one of the best lens adapters with aperture control ring in this price range!

If you are looking for one of the best adapters for Minolta MC/MD to Samsung NX, this is the one! Others I have tried has been ½ as good. The reason is that this adapter is tight and precise, when others do sit too loose on the lens or camera, and leave you with a unsatisfied feeling. If you are looking for a cheap, well-made + very fast delivery, then this is the adapter. Rainbowimaging do Rock!

It works. Quality was about average. What I mean is that some lenses latch with difficulty and others feel slightly loose. Unlatching may also be easy or tough. This variation is typical, from my experience with other similar and inexpensive lens adapters. As expected, this metal adapter has no electrical connections between the camera lens and camera body. It only secures the lens to the body. Much more expensive adapters (from Novoflex, etc) may provide contacts for aperture and focus control. With this inexpensive adapter, you'll manually focus on the fly and you'll accept the default aperture unless you have a separate way to adjust aperture on today's newest all-electronic lenses.

Works great. You can really change the aperture of the lense. Did not have error issue like other cheap adapters which shows "no lense" on screen. The quality is nice, all metal. Only wish there was somehow a number mark for the aperture ring but it may be not possible due to the different lenses. I suggest it.
