Serious audio/video improvement!
I was a bit skeptical about a power conditioner improving the performance of my audio and video equipment. Thank you Furman for proving me wrong! This power conditioner creates a whole new level of silence from my equipment, so when any sound is played you hear every detail. Strong and durable
The unit is of good quality, the lighting is handy (along with the dimmer). The layout on the back for possible equipment to be plugged into is also a good example for anyone to follow. The only part I disagree with is the price. Usually you can get this well below the msrp of some 750 dollars? depending on where you go. Subwoofer Nirvana
I use two elite-15 conditioners to supply power to a couple 1000W class D subwoofer amps. The subs are center pieces in a task oriented nerve center that also includes other devices that connect via WIFI to the main hifi/av system. Each nerve center includes game controllers, remotes, lighting, home theater chairs, etc. The elite-15 conditioners perform perfectly in this setting. While this is my first experience with a true power conditioning product, I am very impressed by its build quality, performance and features----especially the reserve peak current of 45 amps. I can definitely hear an improvement in high SPL, low frequency sound effects and music, as well as better depth and clarity across the audible range. While I would have preferred meters over the pop-out LED lights, I am overall very pleased with this product. New Furman?
It came in a sealed box. Some of the wording on the back is slightly different than the ones displayed on authorized Furman merchants. Furman specifically says that they will not cover the warranty on these products that have been purchased via ebay. So, I'm a little concerned about my purchase now. Especially since it was a few hundred less than what the authorized merchants are selling it for. Is it really new? Is it refurbished? Or is it an older version?
