Poor quality product. Here are the issues that I had to face when installing one of the Sway Bar Link that I had purchased from this vendor:
1. The length of the Sway Bar was almost 1/2-inch shorter than the one I took out of my car. So, I had to figure out a work around to install it. I will probably have to spend more money to re-align my car again.
2. When I was tightening the nut on the bolt on the top side of the Sway Bar, the bolt started rotating also with the nut I was tightening. So, I had to stop tightening the top nut. But I placed an additional nut on that bolt to avoid having the bolt come out of the housing.
3. I will have to check my car every month to make sure that the Sway Bar Link is still in place.
I cannot understand why these people sell these improperly engineered, defective items that can affect other people's lives.
I have worked with design engineers at GM for several years and I helped them buy engineering equipment to properly test the new cars and components they design.
I have two mechanical engineering degrees, and I do most of the repair work on my cars myself, because I enjoy it. So, I know what I am talking about.
