Simple pot to operate
This coffee pot is easy to use and it’s best feature is that it automatically turns itself off after 2 hours. I bought it for my husband as he forgets to turn off a pot when he leaves. Design not the greatest
It looks good, and brews reasonably quickly but not fast. The programming is awkward for setting times, and worse is that the tiny display that is not back-lit being on the bottom of the brewer means you have to get your face down on the counter and close to see, and provide enough light to see. I thought that the electronics being on the bottom would be good for durability, and it may be. I have mad many cease functioning from steam in the controls. The pouring space is cluttered, so you need to see clearly and fill carefully. The basket lock is poor, it works but does not feel secure or easy to undo. The basket assembly itself does not remove or reinsert easily - you have to align plastic pins that you cannot easily see, and it feels like you are breaking it - maybe you are. The carafe lid is in the way during cleaning, it is removable but the plastic feels like that would wear out quickly. But I must say it produces coffee that is superior to my Keurigs!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent Price
I wasn't excited about having to buy a replacement coffee maker at a time when I really couldn't afford to buy one that I really would have preferred. But I wasn't given much choice. I relunctantly replace my Mr. Coffee with another Mr. Coffee at a most reasonable price and to my surprise, even though it looked remarkedly similar to the old one, the whole design turned out to be far superior. Has the features I want, programmable auto off. Make sure you push basket all the way in otherwise it will come open when removing pot. Swing Out Basket
Only bad thing is the swing out basket. It does not fit wel where it attaches (not broken just bad design (a hole with a little plastic insert. You have to lift bottom of basket and aim for the hole. If not properly engaged fully it will brew coffee all over the place. i have had one before and by accident on my part i have one again but for 20 bucks and change it is better to keep and give away to someone i don't like when i get a new coffee maker. Great tasting coffee but takes awhile to brew and "gargles".
The coffee taste fine, as it should using Starbucks fresh grind but the machine is slow and "gargles" air quite a bit throughout the entirety of the brew cycle, not just at the end like most of them will do when they run out of water. The basket that says Mr Coffee on the front of the machine is removable for cleaning with is convenient, but the basket is hard to align and reinstall. Good overall for the price, would recommend. Good economical option
These coffee pots are a good economical option. Reliable, simple, compact & makes great coffee!
For under $20 this coffeemaker will provide years of service. The simple water spray system seems much more robust than coffeemakers that have a spray head that swivels into place when the lid is closed. This is my second one, first one lasted 6 or 7 years with twice-daily use. It always shuts off after 2 hours. This is not a good machine for people who want to set the timer and have the coffeemaker start automatically in the morning IF you change "on" times every day -- the clock display is a little hard to read. But if you usually set the machine for the same time daily, or don't delay brew at all, the small LCD readout isn't an issue. This machine is a little shorter than most, which really makes pouring the cold water into it easier if you have tight space. Lastly, I would recommend buying the optional "permanent" filter insert -- it can still be used in addition to paper filters and it makes emptying the old grounds so easy.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not 100% Satisfied
Its a lovely coffee maker, but it leaks profusely. Let's say I put in enough water for 12 cups. I would only get 8 cups out of that because the rest of the water has leaked out. And, it didn't come with a user manual. Even though it's a Pre Owned coffee maker I still expected it to be fully operational and have a user manual in order to program the timer.
