Adds stability
I replaced a set of these on a 2003 31' Fleetwood motor home with a Workhorse Chassis. The old ones had been in about eight years and worked great until I ran over something that ripped one of the bags at the stem. Hole in bottom of A-arm appeared too small so I dropped the arms to install. Not a huge issue as it took about 1.5 hours to do both sides. The newer bags appear to be the same quality and thickness as the old ones. These bags function perfectly and at 60 pounds each, excessive body roll is eliminated. Air lift ain't what it used to be
My 1984 workhorse airbag ruptured. So I bought a set of new. With all the work I was doing on the vehicle, I neglected to connect one airline and pump the bags up. 15 miles later, airbags were junk. So after much trouble I bought another pair. Tore the new set out. Air bag material is only half as thick as the 1984s. REALLY tough time getting valve cores to seal on lines or air bag inlet. Stability for less than a hundred
This is my 2nd truck with these. Although tricky to fold very small to allow passage into bottom of GM's A-arms. These do a great job of keeping "front end roll" from happening. Seems like a quality product
Worked great on my 2001 Winnebago P32 Workhorse chassis. I had trouble identifying whether this would work on a P32, but it does. The product seems to be good quality. Hard to get through the hole
So they work but the installation instructions are poor and so are most of the videos. Use water hose clamps the keep the bag folded for installation. Its easier to get them through the hole in the A arm.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
