The Rockford Fosgate P3SD2-8 is a shallow-mount two-way car speaker that features an innovative parabolic cone design for loud and deep bass. The speaker system of this Rockford speaker features oversized motor assemblies with a Kevlar-fiber-reinforced semi-pressed paper cone and high-excursion PEE surround to deliver deep and aggressive bass. The Rockford Fosgate P3SD2-8 contains 2-Ohm anodized aluminum voice coils with a spun-laced Nomex reinforcement collar, ensuring ideal heat dissipation for efficient operation. This Rockford speaker employs Multipoint "periodic" stitched lead wire technique to spread strain and stress over a greater area for better performance and endurance. This car speaker features a variety of specifications, such as custom 10-AWG nickel-plated push terminals, an extended pole piece and bumped back plate, a vented spider cavity, a rigid die-cast aluminum low profile basket, and 200 watts RMS. The dimensions of the Rockford speaker include a width of 14.2 inches (36.1 cm), height of 14.2 inches (36.1 cm), and depth of 6 inches (15.2cm) and weight of 14.2 lbs (6.44 kg).Product Identifiers

Replaced factory JBL sub in 4th Gen Toyota 4Runner
If you own a 4th Gen Toyota 4Runner Limited (2003-2009) and have not yet replaced the factory JBL sub, you probably either need to or will soon. This P3SD2-8 is a drop in replacement with only very minor modifications. You will need to drill pilot holes to mount it, and you will need to cut and strip the factory speaker wire, but that's it. It is actually a shallower mount then the factory sub, so no trimming is required to fit it. The end result is much better base than the factory JBL sub ever provided.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
