This is a terrific microphone, and not just for the price. Not only can I be clearly heard on Zoom and other video chat programs, but recording quick messages - they sound almost professional!!

Believe it or not, the sound from this microphone is comparable to the $300 EV RE320 for podcasting. I tested them and went with the $60 Q2U. It also beats the ATR-2100 by a slim margin, even though most people consider them clones. It comes with a cheap, ineffective windscreen, but with a proper pop filter, you can get right up on it without popping Ps. (And the RE320 needs one, too.) Rich, warm sound. Buy it. You'll be glad you did.

I bought this mic because of so many positive feedback of fellow podcasters. I’m recording at home using a mic + mixer (Behringer) + zoom call with my co-host. My issu was the white noise that came through the mixer. With the Samson Q2U, I got rid of this buzzing sound completely, so I can adjust the gain to whatever level I want. Moreover it doesn’t pickup ambiant sounds so it’s perfect for home recording as it picks up less reverb. I can’t be happier of this purchase.

I am very happy with the microphone, less so with the headphones. I use the mic for amateur video projects and podcasts and found that it delivers very good sound for the price. It installed without a problem. The tripod mic stand that came with it is quite serviceable. I chose not to use the software that came with the mic because it seemed more complicated than what I needed and I am happy with the software I had been using. I hesitate to criticize the headphones because, at this very reasonable price, I considered them to be a "bonus" to the mic purchase. That said, they are hard and uncomfortable and just don't sound very good. I plug a pair of ear buds into the mic, instead. I'm very happy with the mic, glad I bought it and I recommend it to anyone other than hardcore pros who should plan to spend more money.Read full review
Good microphone. A bit top heavy on the stand, so be careful. Easily tips over or falls. Otherwise, for the price, it works well.

Excellent product. One of the easiest ways to record directly to your computer or laptop. Make sure you use some editing software to add some low end if necessary. The big plus is an XLR extension to use with an audio interface. For the overall cost and some audio software knowledge, you can sound just as good as the high dollar mics and be more versatile.

Easy to use, versatile, great sound! I wanted a dynamic mic with USB so I can take on the road as well as use at home. Can't beat it especially for the price.

usb makes it great to start with just a laptop. then if you upgrade your sound later on you don’t have to buy new mics because the Q2U also has XLR. great start!

This mic is working just fine. It is good quality for a reasonable price. I'm using the XLR cable connection with it.
