With the active user in mind, the splash-proof JVC HA-EB75 behind the ear headphones feature a water-resistant design to help protect the product from the elements. Soft rubber ear clips fit around the outer ear to hold the earbud securely in place while the user is exercising or engaging in sports. A five-position slide mechanism adjusts the clips to tailor the fit of these JVC headphones to almost any individual. The 3.9-foot cord on these behind the ear headphones has a friction noise reduction design and a gold-plated 3.5-mm plug that is compatible with most personal listening devices. The 16-Ohm JVC HA-EB75 headphones employ 0.5-inch neodymium driver units that, together with the bass boosting earpiece design, extends the low end down to 16 Hz. Highs out to 20 kHz are also accurately reproduced. These JVC headphones are both sensitive and powerful, producing 105 dB of sound at 1 milliwatt of input power and a thunderous 128 dB sound pressure level at the maximum input of 200 milliwatts. Great for the active person!!!
I was using the apple headphones that came with my iPod, but found myself spending more time positioning and repositioning them in my ear... I absolutely HATE them!! Unless you're sitting still, their useless!! These on the other hand, have seen me through some of my toughest workouts with only a rare adjustment (if at all)... and usually when that happens, it's because I tugged on the cord somehow. JVC HA-EB75
I purchased the HA-EB75 headphones from ebay. I first noticed that they did not fit my ears well, and were very uncomfortable. The actual ear bud is hard plastic, and does not form to the inner ear. The sound quality was great at first, but after the second day of use, the right side started making a distorted rattling. It sounded like the speaker was blown. Good value
I have been using this JVC brand of over the ear ear buds for about 7 Years or so. I've even experimented with other brands including much more expensive ones. Most other brands of these will not fit as well and the sound will be no better, in fact most likely will be poor. I have been using these ear buds at the gym for years when I work out. I had pair last me over 6 years in continuing use and the only reason why they stopped working was because of severe water damage and a chemical spill that I caused. Best headphones I've ever had
I've tried a lot of different headphones, and either broken them or didn't use them because they were bad. But then I tried these, I bought a pair one year ago and they lasted the entire year. Uncomfortable after a couple of hours
Easy to put on/take off. Sound quality is great!. Ear buds press into the ear and after a couple of hours the protrusion seem to cut into the inner ear. I don't see a reason why they have the sharp edged protrusion which is on the edge of the in ear mini-speakers. My old Sony over the ears are much more comfortable, though they don't stay in the ear as well. I guess for 1-2 hours of use at a time they would be OK.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

My third set over the years and the weak link is where the cord attaches to the jack. One of the wires breaks after a year or so and you loose sound.
