About this product

Product Information

The interesting life of this Chinese-American artist and master of special effects is brought into wonderful focus through live interviews and descriptions of his work. The reader is told of Chang's life, beginning when he was an eight-year-old artist in San Francisco, his bout with polio, his help with such designs as Barbie and models for the Star Trek T.V. show, and his eventual involvement with the environment.

  • Book is missing my favorite part of his career unfortunately

The author missed even talking about CENTAUR PRODUCTIONS and how that came to be. Wah created his finest work in THE THREE LITTLE DWARVES: HARDROCK, COCO & JOE and SUZY SNOWFLAKE and not even a mention. There is also no mention of the SHRIMPENSTEIN puppet he created for the local kids show in California starring Gene Moss. Not sure how you can write a small book like this without mentioning his high water marks.
