They fit just right on my ears for maximum sound, very light weight is a plus for me, good color design is a must have when out in public. and the ear pads feel so comforting and smooth , and over all great sounding speakers that are very clear with great balance and ''boom''.

I have owned Sony, Senheisser my brother has Beats. none of this headphone wins on BOSE. This headset are so comfy that you can just enjoy for hours, almost you won't notice it. I fell asleep at one time just listening to its quality sound this headphones produces. balance is the most amazing feature of this piece, enough bass that you will appreciate all the instruments playing together as one. i enjoy listening to acoustic, instrumental and religious music. not much of sound leakage unless you put to 100% volume, even so you will only notice just a bit of it compare to all other headphones. BOSE has been around for a while, so if you want sound quality BOSE is the way to go. what i dnt like about it is the clothe bag, offers 0% protection on the headset, bought an aftermarket hard case to protect my investment. over all if you want sound quality on a class on its own, BOSE is the way to go.Read full review
We took these earphones to Amsterdam, Netherlands. On the plane they were wonderful! We do have the Noise Cancelling Earphones, but the Bose AE2 cover your entire ear and are just as good as the Noise Cancelling Earphones. I love the feature that they cover your entire ear. If you do not want to put them over your head you can put them around your neck and they do not fall off. Comfortable, reliable, easy to store and carry. LOVE THEM! They were worth every penny, and half the cost of the Noise Cancelling Earphones! Yeah!!!
Comfortable fitting on head and ears afforded by the lightweight material it is made from. Was disappointed in the absence of deep tones that are associated with the Bose brand. Not that much difference in sound quality from the head phones I already own.

We needed headphones for my 5 year old grandson who is very hard of hearing, and wears hearing aids full time. Some background: he has never been able to use headphones before because of the physical discomfort from them pressing his hearing aids into his ear and not fitting over the piece of his hearing aids that sit behind each ear. In addition, the sound quality was always poor and caused feedback so he didn't like to wear them. However when he used his tablet, he needed the volume up so high that he was going to cause the rest of us to lose OUR hearing. Lol. As a last resort, I put my Bose headphones on him one day to see if they would work better than others we have tried. The headband pressure is much lighter and the sound quality much better than any other less expensive headphones I've ever used. Bingo - he was happy with the sound and comfort level, and we could talk to each other without yelling over the sound from his tablet. BUT, my headphones were from my Dad who has passed away, so they have sentimental value as well as being good quality - and I was always stressed out that he would break them. So I went on the hunt for a pair like mine. Because of his age, we didn't want to spend a lot for a new set in case he damaged them despite our precautions. (To protect this set, he has to come get them from us and use them in our view.) These actually are better for him, as the ear piece is slightly larger than mine, so they fit over his ear and the part of his hearing aid that is behind his ear. He has a big head, so that is a real bonus for us. Like the set I have, these don't place a lot of pressure on the head from the headband being too stiff, and the pads on the earpieces are very comfortable. IF he does manage to damage the ear pads (OR they simply wear out since he uses them a lot now), or if he manages to short out or break the cord - all those parts are easily replaced. The only thing they didn't have on this model was an actual "break-away" cord like mine, but since the cord still can be disconnected easily from up at the ear piece - I'm hoping that will give way before any damage is done to the headphones themselves. But at the same time, the connection is well made and secure enough to not fall out easily, which would also be a problem. When Bose sold this model, they only came with a soft bag, not a protective case like the ones I have came with. So, along with this order I went looking for a good protective case for them and found one they fit perfectly on Amazon. In the end, they are exactly what we needed, and I am so happy that my grandson is now able to hear his games and movies, and we can still hear each other! He no longer gets frustrated and turns his tablet up really loud because we are talking near him, which causes enough background noise for him that he can't separate our voices from the sound of his tablet. He used to turn it up so loud it hurt our ears. Thanks Bose for a great product, that especially with the easily replaced pieces, seems durable enough to last my grandson a long time!Read full review
