Item was good , but did not hold a charge,. It has to be plugged in to work. Kind of defeted the purpose of by a portable DVD player.

Although not very expensive it is very durable and the built-in battery is a plus to other models where the battery falls out after enough use. The battery last just under 2 hours (a little more when using headphones) but most movies these days are over 2 hours so you have to have connection to power to watch a full movie. I guess this is expected for the price. The only real gripe I have with this unit is the aspect ratio is not quite 16:9 which makes the image slightly streached no matter what the original dvd aspect is. This is why I only give 4 out of 5 stars.
