Impeccable refurbished machine
I am not going to review the ESAM3500 as a product as that can be found in many other places. I can only confirm the ESAM3500 is a outstanding fully automated entry level machine with auto cappuccino and latte dispensing. I want to focus my review on the condition of the refurbished product I received. Based on the label on the package, the machine I received was refurbished by DeLonghi. The machine looked brand new, with all protection it deserves. The bottom stainless till grid came with that blue protective plastic, and it included a brand new user manual, the water hardness tester strip and one sample bottle of the descaling solution. Coffee generated out of it tasted delicious with the out of the box settings although to my taste I turned the grinder setting a bit counterclockwise. Great Machine!
We have had this espresso machine for little over two weeks now and it has been great. First the shipping was fast (sent from Quebec and got to northern Alberta in 5 business days). the setup for this machine is easy and well documented in the user manual. The unit itself looks brand new no sign the it was a refurbished unit, it makes great coffee from the start. Fantastic value for money
This is my second "refurbished" DeLonghi I bought (had bought a ESAM4000 four years ago on eBay) and like the first one, this one turned out to be brand new as well. Over my old ESAM4000 this is a nice upgrade as for one the grinder is much quieter and of course the ability to have milk steamed automatically and get nice cappuccinos / lattes. I bought the machine for $599 with a $100 eBay voucher discount and that was an awesome deal.
