    Good drive, but buyers beware

    This is an Intellipower drive, meaning it only spins up to ~5000 RPM. The drive is slow but the price to storage ratio is great. Just know what you want to use this for. Get a higher speed drive if you are not using it for archiving or media storage.

    Western Digital Hard Drive Fails Often

    The price of the hard drive is really good. It only costs me $33.99. I'm using it for my home VCR recorder. However, I find that the drive doesn't work all the time. The drive has the capacity 1TB, but it often stops working at around 185GB and makes a loud beep. Every time when it happens, I have to reformat the drive again. May be the problem comes from the system board. If that's the case, I just wasted my replacement for the previous hard drive. Therefore, I'm not sure what causes the hard drive to stops working and makes a loud noise. Since I'm writing a review, I'm just explaining my experience.

    Had a 2tb wd drive that failed

    Does the work for a good price

    The HDD works well, is fast enough for gaming, even if not ment for gaming, silent, all good except one thing, this said "new product" but when i openned i saw spots and scratches in the hard drive, work's well so far but i don't get the fact that if is a new product, why the wearings signs.
