Keep track of an animal's blood pressure and oxygen saturation level with this Contec digital blood pressure monitor for veterinarians. This blood pressure monitor is sized for small animals such as dogs and cats. It uses a hook and loop tape closure to stay on the animal. It also has pulse oximeter technology in order to give an accurate oxygenation level reading. This monitor uses light emitting diodes to display the results in real-time. The portable monitor comes with a lanyard.

Glad I Found This Monitor For My Cats
I got this monitor to perform my old cat's blood pressure readings at home. Untreated high blood pressure in cats can cause them to go blind...I know because I had a previous cat that had & did go blind. In additional to this monitor, I had to buy a smaller cuff (the cuff that comes with the monitor is too large for a cat's forearm) & an extension hose for that smaller cuff but all 3 things together work great. Most cats get too upset in the Vet's office to get an accurate blood pressure reading. I'm able to take my cat's while she's relaxing/dozing in her cat bed. I do 5 readings & then average those readings. My old cat is now on blood pressure meds & is doing great.

I bought this because my vet charged $40 for one reading and my dog was highly upset about it and then my vet put my dog on high blood pressure meds. I was not convinced. So far she is registering normal 160/100 and will keep an eye on this. I am not against a vet doing this but the animal MUST be at ease. And most won't be. She freaks just going in that building.
