This is a nice lightweight portable computer. It has the physical size and weight of an Apple Mac-book Air, maybe an exaggeration, but at a fraction of the price. Although it is an older laptop, it still is a functional piece of equipment. It has all of the features needed in this type of computer. Since I got it far below the original unit cost,......... The seller delivered it with Win 7 Ultimate, which was pretty nice. I have since updated it to Windows 10 Pro. No problems. No failed programs. (Although, I haven't actually tried them all.) It has 802.11n wireless and Gigabit Ethernet. It has a good screen, small, but with good resolution. So far excellent battery life. There was a SIM card in it. However, since it had been previously registered, I went to Verizon Wireless and got a new one for free. It communicates via my VZW data plan. Rather neat! I have previously used my Blackberry Z30 as a mobile hot spot. With this I don't have to do that. I have had a similar HP DM1 before - DM1-3025DX. It didn't have the Mobile Broadband. The two shared the same minor quirks: 1. The bottom/back is held by internal small snaps. These can break or wear (?) leaving the back a less than secure fit. It may contribute to improper air flow. Gentleness in removal is paramount. 2. The touch pad vacillates between insensitive and oversensitive. An annoyance and maybe a result of use before I got it. 3. The display screen may be vulnerable. I shattered the one in my previous model, but that my have been my fault. 4. Battery replacement can be expensive if buying new from HP or some of the other battery sources. Probably best to check eBay if necessary. 5. Fan can sometimes make a lot of noise. This varies. (See 1 above.)Read full review
