I accidentally melted my first one. I was so glad to find this product online. My husband used it a lot and was excited to get it replaced. Good for fast salsa.

While I like the 2 sizes of bowls, it does NOT have a large opening as is deceptively pictured. The opening is only 1 1/2", only very small foods can be added whole. The front picture shows a whole sliced tomato nicely sliced in one of the bowls. Perhaps a Roma, cherry or grape tomato would fit, but not the tomatoes I grow and buy. Onions, apples, and whatever have to be cut smaller. Big Mouth is NOT such a thing on this processor. If you take out the big pusher to get in bigger foods, it still only allows another 1/2 inch and it can't be run without it in place. Since I have to use my cutting board and knife to chop the food into smaller pieces, I usually just finish the job there instead of bothering to get out this machine. I should have saved my money for a bigger, better machine. To say the least, I am quite disappointed in this product.Read full review

I bought this food processor because the Hamilton Beach food processor thatI had been using for 36 years finally died. I like having 2 bowl sizes. For many jobs, the smaller bowl is perfect. It has plenty of power to do everything I ask of it. I also like having the "pulse" option. I do not like that it will not run without the pusher in place (I do understand that it is a safety feature). Sometimes I want to just continuously feed into the chute, especially during garden harvest season. My old model had a mixing blade. I miss that blade. I probably would buy this model again. Hopefully, this one will last another 36 years.
Likes: Big food chute with little one inside it. Design is good, and build is solid. Dislikes: From the floor of the bowl to the top of the center ring where the blade sits is quite shallow. Although the capacity of the processor is large, the practical capacity if you are processing wet ingredients is much smaller. I would also like one of the blades to be a little higher in the bowl - this machine doesn't do as well with a full load as my previous food processor. Overall, no shining victory, but no nasty surprises.
This food processor is good and the b owls and blades are dishwasher safe and clean well. The lock safety system has be picky. I rate it 9 out of 10.
