The Breville BES900XL Dual Boiler espresso machine is unique because it allows you simultaneous extraction of your espresso shot while you steam your milk, thanks to the dual stainless steel boiler feature and dedicated steam head. The espresso boiler, designed to brew your favorite espresso shot, features a temperature control so your shot is extracted at the right temperature and is designed to provide thermal stability throughout the brewing process. Water temperature is precisely kept between 190-205 degrees Fahrenheit, depending on the type of roast you are using. The temperature is programmable, as is the pre-infusion pressure and duration. By adjusting the pre-infusion and brewing duration, you have ultimate control to fine-tune your drink’s flavor profile. The Breville dual boiler machine slowly increases the water pressure automatically to expand the grinds for even, consistent extraction. With an 84-oz. top-fill water tank, an exclusive hot water outlet, and auto-start settings, this machine is user-friendly. Unlike some professional coffee and espresso makers, the Breville dual boiler machine’s water tank is removable and features a water level indicator so you can easily tell when the tank is full. The indicator also allows you to check the water level without having to remove the tank for faster brewing. Using the shot clock feature and the pressure gauge, you can practice your coffee-brewing skills and experiment until you find the right combination for your taste. Additionally, the Breville dual boiler machine allows you to control your shot volume, either one or two shots, to customize your drink to your heart’s content.
