If you are an RPG lover or long time JRPG/old school RPG fan, pick this up! The story is a solid 5☆ by itself, Dialogue & Character development- 4.5☆ World & Dungeon design- 4.5☆ If I had to round up between all the good things this game has and the three separate but unilateral characters you get to level up and play thru the story as, it'd be easily 4.98☆ out of 5. Play this hard to find game when you can, and try to find a complete original copy before they are all swept up to be unseen for 10 years.

This RPG has a lot going for it, the story line being it's best feature. The games music is fantastic, the composer did a great job incorporating western themes. Each of the 3 playable characters have their own unique fighting system and tools they can use. The combat is fun and not as monotonous as many RPG's. Although there are times you get sick of running into enemies, you can find an item to reduce encounters to 0 pretty early in the game. The battle animations look silly and some of the enemy sound effects sound like a stock cat sample. Other than those minor details this is the best RPG I have played this year. Which means Wild Arms is a a level above Super Mario RPG, Tecmo Secret of the Seven Stars, Y's III, and even Secret of Mana 2!

I have owned Wild Arms in the past. I actually got quite far in it. Then, foolishly, I quit playing and eventually I sold it. I’ve alway wanted it again. So when I saw it, at a good price, I got it.. The graphics are great and the 3D is very well done. The story draws you in and keeps you playing. The difficulty is well balanced as well.. I would recommend this game to anyone who likes good solid RPGS.

Another title that didn't got the attention it deserves. Thanks final fantasy 7! It might look bad looking at it with a modern mind but for the time these graphics were the bomb yo. The animated cutscenes still are tho. I love them, specially the intro one, cuz they are pretty well done and don't exagerate in those mid 90's anime goofy proportions. And the western themed music. Yes. Perfect after coming from watch Django ;v

I have had a copy of this game for years I must say. It was a gift from a friend of mine. I loved this game to begin with. It has a great battle system and a wonderful story line as well. The anime begining was a very welcome to this great game. I decide to buy a copy cause the friend that gave me my copy lost his and I am getting it for him as brithday gift. I did not dislike anything about this game there are so many great things about it that it is hard to bought them all down. I must say Wild Arms is the one of the best games every made.
I don't think there are any words that accurately describe this game title. The story of the little boy who wanders lost in a world that never wants to accept him. The story of a young man who saves a world that shuns him. The story of a young woman trying to find herself within her responsabilities. Finally the story of a man seeking to avenge his fallen comrades by seeking power beyond himself. This game has all the key factors from the start for an epic RPG. The characters are all easily adored, the stories of each are emersive, and finally the journey is incredible. My only problem with this game is that it could have been made longer. More effort could have gone into this title than a single disc game, 2 disc would have been sufficient and 3-4 would have been perfection! The puzzles during gameplay are addictive and the game functions are handled easily through the control interface, so again, superb work.Read full review
Very good but tough little RPG. Find the walkthroughs on the ‘net, you will need them.

This is a great Japanese, turn-based RPG. I bought it for a friend who was wanting it for his birthday. He loves it. I highly recommend this game for anyone who loves great Japanese RPGs. The story is an epic tale and the game-play is still amazing for a PS1 title. The controls for it are smooth and easy to use. I can't say enough good things about this amazing title. If you want to pay an awesome RPG, this one doesn't disappoint. Thanks.
This is an excellent rpg that is, in my opinion, the best of the Wild Arms series. The bright colorful graphics, especially in the overhead areas, bring back memories of the best of the 16 bit era. It has a fairly straightforward storyline, which gives the perspective of each main character. The storyline isn't cumbersome like many modern rpgs, which often has you pressing the button to progress through the pages of dialogue. The decade of the 90s was a "magical" time in the history of gaming, and this game is no exception.
An instant classic Rpg, great story, great graphics, and just a great game.
