Excellent upgrade for your Crosman 22XX series air guns
These metal breeches for the Crosman 22XX series of air guns is a major upgrade. It is much more robust than the plastic stock breech and has scope mounting ribs for easy installation of a scope or red dot or holographic sight. I have read that they may even provide a slight increase in pellet velocity. Well worth the cost and this kit is complete with everything needed for installation (excluding the breech screw which you will use the screw that was in your stock breech) including the hex wrenches.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

First upgrade option for 1322
Had to make a small gasket to seal the transfer port fitting , the hole was larger than the fitting, once I got that figured out I was having no air loss at all and steel breech and new barrel added some power , installed ruger 4x32 cheap scope which works great with my 1322 .haven't chronographed it but noticable difference in penetration from 15 yds into standard 2x4 , 15 pumps has some air left in valve , plan on adding stronger hammer spring and extended bolt . I see no reason to add new piston or valve . Hypothetically plenty of power to dispatch stray cats that are killing birds and chipmunks in the back yard at 10 yards with a head shot .

Solid as a rock.
The steel breech allows you to mount optics on the breech. The steel breech has grooves to mount a red dot or scope. The steel breech gives you another point that holds the barrel. The instructions were a little difficult for me to understand but there are several online videos and websites with step by step instructions that made it all possible.
