The center handle along the side of the lightweight tripod makes it easier for the photographer to carry the 3.9 lbs wherever it needs to go. The maximum height of the Promaster 7150 is 68.8 inches and the height is easily adjustable with rapid adjust center column. Rather than having to deal with knobs and locks, the center column on the Promaster Tripod just slides and locks into place when the appropriate height is reached. The legs on this lightweight tripod work in much the same way. They pull out to extend and then twist into place. On the bottom of each leg is a spiked foot which allows the Promaster 7150 to stand securely on any surface. With the bubble level on the three-way pan head, photographers can ensure that the tripod is level with little effort. I love my tripod. Sturdy and well made for its price. It is a bit bulky but that is okay! The pieces move smoothly and do not jerk when you adjust it.
