Very attractive hose holder that does the job well
Until the new bushes I planted grow up, the hose I use everyday will have to show on the front of my house. So I was looking for a holder that would provide a little 'decor' while keeping my hose neat. Therefore I was delighted to find this unique piece and have found it to be very well made and surprisingly sturdy - and best of all big enough to hold my 50 ft. long hose. The design allows access to the spigot and makes it easy to wind the hose. The only drawback I can see is the limit to the size hose one could use. Mine is a 1/2 in diameter hose that weighs only 3 lbs. I think this hose would also work well with a larger diameter heavier hose if it was only 25 feet but I doubt it could hold anything longer if it was also heavier. But if you can use a relatively small and lightweight hose, this holder is a gem for sure!

Beauty Instead of Utility
What a beautiful embellishment to any home. A hose reel while functional is not a decorative element, until you see this lovely sculptural heavy brass hose reel. I'm waiting for the bird spigot that I ordered to arrive before calling the plumber. My husband said "that's beautiful" when he saw it. Well worth the cost to replace ugly but need utility with art.
