The DC Sports intake for the 06-11 civic si is perfect for those who are looking for a great intake for such an affordable price. Now it is not the best intake in the aftermarket, but it holds up to its value. Packaging was totally fine, every thing you need is included, the only thing I was concerned with was the instructions. They are almost useless. However, the installation is very simple and can be easily learned by going on youtube to find installation videos on the intake. Some of the factory hose clamps might not fit, so you may need to buy new clamps that would fit. Overall it is a great product.

well..i had always bought DC SPORT performance parts for all my honda's..but this dc sport short ram air intake,sucks up alot of heat,because they way it was designed,they located the filter so close to the exhaust manifold/header on the 06-11 civic si or K20Z3/k20 motors .i had to buy a filter heat shield to help with the heat soak..i totally regret buying it..i am gonna go with the hybrid short ram intake which locates the filter,similar to the skunk2 filter,by the fenderwell,plus the tubing for the hybrid racing intake is bigger too.

My only negative thing to say is the 45° coupler was a little too long and had to trim it so it wouldn't buckle. Other than that install was a breeze and saw instant improvement to throttle response and pick up, even on stock exhaust still. Very pleased!
