Very rich bass and solid construction
I purchased this sub to go with my 15" Mackie Thumps. First off, this sub weighs 132 pounds! It came with wheels that attatch to the back (or bottom) of the sub which makes its easy to move around. The rear panel (which contains the cicuit boards of the sub) is shipped separate from the sub. Performance wise, it thumps! I took my 15" Mackie Thumps and this Rockville 18" sub and set them up in a big gym (the gym has a full size basketball court in it). At half volume, the sub filled the whole gym! It was clean sound coming from all 3 sound sources! I am very pleased with my purchase and will buy another! Well worth the money.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Earthquake!!!
Was looking for a self powered subwoofer for my smaller PA set up and came across this one got to admit I was a bit skeptical because I didn’t see any reviews on them but I figured for the price and warranty i’m going to give it a shot personally I wanted to wait until I got to test it out on their real gig before I did this review so I did. And let me say this I was amazed! I’m a believer. I pushed it as hard as I could and it didn’t even peak once I put it next to my Yorkville ps18s and I got to say this thing rocks. Solid structor made from real plywood not the manufactured crap though I must tell you it’s a little on the heavier side but hey what do you expect from a 18” subwoofer. All in all great product especially for the price you can’t beat it and it sounds way better than a lot of those $1500 subwoofers.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not for the faint of heart
The Rockville 18" Sub really shakes the house. Awesome base. I paired it with a good set of speakers and a Yamaha 7000 amplifier and it sounds so good. Larger than life low down party pounder
Good sound in an affordable package. Larger than some single 18” bin, the big box steps it out in a nice way. Will it remodel at 40’ doing an EDM party… maybe not, but for the $$ it is hard to beat for most music even outside for a block party. Castors make the larger bin surprisingly easy to manage. Packs quite the punch
I find this to be a really great product for the value. As you may have heard, don't let the price fool you, and I genuinely mean this!! It packs a lot of punch for what it is, and does the job so well. I do find that I am running out of headroom in terms of dB sometimes but the larger the space the more it sings. disappointed
i am extremely disappointed with this sub. my opinion it isn't what they described it as. mid level the bass is flat and the box sounds like its rattling and about to fall apart nut then again i guess you get what you pay for.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
