2000 Saturn SL1
Worked great with my 2000 Saturn SL1. My old lock cylinder did not want to turn from the "on" to the "start" position - e.g. I was having trouble starting my car - and this fixed the problem. I removed the old lock cylinder, and then removed the pins or tumblers one-by-one reading the numbers on each and then writing them down one-by-one (1 thru 9) And I redundantly lined the old tumblers up on the piece of paper in order in case I messed up somewhere. It does not take very long at all, but I slowly and methodically rebuilt the new lock cylinder, reinstalled it into the lock housing, and the key turned flawlessly and without issue. There seems to be a little bit of a hitch when I turn off the motor, turning the key from the "accessory" to the "lock" position, but otherwise this was a fairly major fix in terms of trying to simply go from point A to point B without a lot of drama trying to start my car. I'm fairly ecstatic it was so easy to repair.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Awesome Kit!
Kit came with new lock cylinder & all the different sizes of tumblers. I think even after writing down my old lock cylinder code/s, found that maybe my key was wore down to much in a couple of the positions, so I swapped put the tumblers to fit & work much better :) Very Happy to of learned how this all works, never tried this before, all the 57 years, a good 45 or so working on vehicles, etc..!
