reliable waterproof pocket camera
My wife's 14MP Olympus SLR takes way better pictures than this pocket camera, but with ISO set to 100 and good lighting I can get close to the SLR quality with the TG-320. Close enough that the difference in an 8X10 print is very difficult determine which camera was used. That said, this fits in my pocket or around my neck under my shirt. I have way more opportunities to take pictures with the TG-320 than with the SLR because of portability. From the 'stand-by' mode the camera takes about 1 second to power up and be ready to shoot. From a completely off position the camera takes about 5 seconds until ready to shoot. The auto-focus is spot on about 90% of the time for me, and snaps the picture quickly when button is pressed...which isn't always the case for these auto-focus cameras. I prefer film cameras for various reasons, but the TG-320 was inexpensive and proved worth the money for our latest family vacation. If you can get one for $20 or less you will be extremely pleased.
