So far so good but waiting for thing to break. First vac needed many repairs.
This is my 2nd Hayward vac and my 3rd overall. The 1st vac served me good. It seems to need repair several times a year. My next vac didn't last 3 years. Hopefully this one lasts much longer. So far only one complaint. Yesterday it picked up a small rock which stopped motion. It took two time to expel the rock. Cheaper than a pool guy
I purchased this product years ago and it has always done its job. I've had to replace a few parts due to wear and tear but that's to be expected. So, when my old one went out, the smart thing to do was buy another. I have a 12' X 40' pool, and it covers the entire pool. Of course, I had to add 2 hoses to the mix but that did not take away from the action of my submersible. It's awesome the way it climbs the walls and hugs the corners.
