Best waffler out that is no longer out there...
This is the best "classic" style 4 square waffler made, or no longer made... which is its sole problem. I, personally, love the small squared classic waffles, and am not a fan of the Belgian waffles which seem to be all you can find anymore. Cuisinart makes a small round classic waffler, but that is it... all Belgian besides that. Sad state of affairs in the waffle world! America's Test Kitchen agreed that this was the best of the best, which makes you wonder why they stopped making it. I already have owned one for years, and when I found out you could no longer get them I located a good used one as a backup... that's how good they are! It cooks evenly every time, is a breeze to clean, and just keeps on working. I may never need the spare, but as long as I am eating waffles, I am going to have a Villaware classic waffler to make them in!Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Some issues with use.
It worked well for the first batch of waffles. Next use the red and green lights stayed on and the waffles only half cooked. I had to shut down and unplug, waited 20 minutes, plugged back in and made one more batch with no issues. Will give it another try in a few days and hope there is no repeat.
