Used as a replacement for a 1950's bath exhaust fan. Installation tips: Note that the electrical supply enters the box directly opposite the exhaust, so that side of box must have 1 1/2" to 2" of clearance for wires and connector , i.e. the side opposite the exhaust can't go directly against a joist. I also used foil duct tape to seal the unused mounting holes and other openings in the metal box to prevent moisture escape to ceiling OR drawing air from the ceiling cavity. Excellent light and low noise in a compact unit - very pleased with product.
