PULL THE HATCHBACK HANDLE, THEN STAND BACK!
The rear hatch on my 2002 Escalade was getting dangerous. It was like a gym workout to lift it, and it wouldn't stay up. It hit me in the head or my back whenever I leaned in to put something in the cargo bay. My Christian Brothers Automotive techs Installed these StrongArms and WOW! I pull the handle now, and the hatch literally lifts itself all the way up---and stays there. No more stress, strain, bumps, or bruises. These are a terrific product, perfectly engineered for this application. They really make me proud I BOUGHT AMERICAN!
