Bennett trim tabs alt 10
Bennett trim tabs alt 10 work great on my boat. I have a 18 ft skiff. I just put a 115 hp on it from having a 90 hp, and installed a jack plate. This extra weight caused the boat to porpoise at high speeds. These trim tabs eliminated all of that. The bow now stays down and I couldn't be more happy.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good for the price
I have a 16 ft aluminum boat and I ordered the larger tabs. My boat get on plane extremely fast now without the bow coming up. The side to side trim is better but still there. The boat rides flat in the water which makes for a much better ride in the chop. There is a lot if spray behind the boat now and a lot of drag which brings my top speed down quite a bit. I probably could have gotten away with the smaller tabs. When I'm at 3/4 throttle or higher the tabs push the bow down too far and it begins to plow. Trim tabs
They work fantastic. I have a SX Penta with the exhaust so I couldn't install a hydrofoil. I have ties on the rear of the trailer so I installed them closer to the center of that the pictures shows, but still more than 8ins from the center and they worked better than a hydrofoil.
