This cordless phone system features one main base, an expansion base station, and two separate handsets that feature caller ID/call waiting displays and speakerphone capabilities. The caller ID/call waiting display measures 1.2 x 1.1-inches and can hold up to 50 names and numbers at a single time. The Vtech CS6419-2 takes one phone jack and turns it into multiple usable phone lines. Each Vtech cordless phone handset is programmed with DECT 6.0 Digital technology for maximum call clarity. In addition to call clarity, this technology ensures other wireless electronic devices do not interfere with incoming or outgoing calls on the Vtech CS6419-2. This cordless phone system uses digital security technology to encrypt and scramble phone calls, which prevents outsiders from eavesdropping or intercepting calls. A good phone
This was really what I needed, a 2 handset phone setup, and wouldn't need to have to move one phone around every time I moved from one area of the home to another. very nice cordless phone for $
Very nice dual cordless phone set for the money. My 2.4ghz phones were interfering with my wireless modem. These dect phones fixed that and are nice and clear and easy to use. Love the speaker phone. Cons: Wish it accepted a headset, base doesn't show vm messages waiting and shows x number of "missed" calls even after the call was picked up - kinda of misleading.
