Rockford Fosgate 1200d
This amp replaced my gothic gt1 6000d power acoustik amp. I was skeptical at first even reading all the review but this thing is way stronger, half the size, and too much for my electrical system. I bought this item based on all the good reviews it has, but I had my suspicions. I was right! I tested it on 2 15" MTX subwoofers, and I didn't like how it sounded. The bass doesn't sound near as good, or deep, as the older models i.e. the P8002, P6002, or even the P5002 amp. True power
I don't normally leave reviews, but I thought this amp was worth it. I've been doing car audio since 1996 when I bought my first Rockford Fosgate Punch 40 IX. I was skeptical on this amp at first because it was the Prime series, and because of the price. However after reading many reviews and giving it a shot I could not be any happier. I am pretty sure this amp has more power than my Rockford Fosgate power 500.2 Chrome that I had about 10 years ago, and even better, it runs at 1 ohm and is 80% efficient, which the 500.2 couldn't do either. I'm currently running this amp on 1-12 W7 with stock electrical and it pounds. The car is flexing, the windshield shaking, and my ears are rattling. Now I'm not going to say this is louder than my 4 JL Audio 12 w 6 V 2 and JL Audio 1000/1, but like I said for the price this amp can't be beat. I have been a Rockford man since 1996 and got skeptical once they started having their amps built over seas. Rockford Prime R1200
Amp does well considering it's the lowest grade offered by rockford. Seems to output more power than some other brand amps that I have ran with similar ratings. I would recommend if you are on a tight budget. Otherwise I would still recommend rockford just a higher grade.

Purchased this amp to drive my Rockford Fosgate Power T112 sub. Killer size for its punch and rock stable! Pushing put 1263 watts at 1 ohm! The Belva 1 ferrad capacitor is decent but has a annoying blue LED that shows when its charging or discharging. Annoying to say the least in a hatchback as it is bright at night. The wiring kit has ample amount of zipties and only a few ring terminals. The RCA cables are not great quality but do the job. If you are pushi g more than 750 watts RMS then go to the 2 ferrad capacitor. My lights still dim. Over all a great amp but i would spend more money and get the Rockford Fosgate Power amp install kit.

Rockford Fosgate make super power amps in small packages.
I have a 500watt fosgate currently, I'm upgrading to the 1200watt. Using the 1ohm stable setup, my two fosgate p2d4 10" are gonna slam super hard. Way more power for way less money! Why buy used up scratched, stolen, dented, dropped, water logged, fryed channel junk when you can own NEW AMPS?. They say prime amps are their lowest grade Rockford amp lol yeah right Rockford don't make low grade stuff dude!
