Nice product, received in like new condition with wrapper on the screen. FM transmitters in my area don’t work well, too much cross traffic but plugged in sounds better than my previous radio. You get five presets and the arrows go to different genres. A little different but you pick up pretty quick. Can’t change the color of the displays but overall a simple easy to use radio and eliminates the need for a power cord

I've been a Sirius user since 2006, and this is not my favorite radio I've ever had. I recently got a new, used car with no Aux port. As opposed to spending and extra $100 to change the radio, I decided this would be an easier option because it has the FM transmitter. Sound quality is not great, and the signal goes out and is taken over by random stations at times. Also, if you want the radio "bent", which is supposed to be a feature, it has a tendency to fall down. Just FYI.

When I looked at the price, I had my doubts, the Subaru dealer charges $ 400 to install the necessary components for XM/Serious radio. I decided to buy this and I was very pleased. Easy to set up and it is adjustable to fit your dash, that is that the neck is bendable so you can position it to compliment you dash and not impede the controls. You can hook this up to the Aux input on the existing car radio or use the FM feature if you do not have an AUX input. This unit is also quite portable, I bought an extra antenna and I can simply move this between my two cars as desired. The XM channels come in perfectly. I saw three price packages and I went for the $ 9.99/month package which gives me all the music and entertainment that I need. You can program in up to five channels and this unit is easy to use. I would not hesitate to recommend this unit. it is small, versatile, and has some quality to it. I gave this FIVE stars without any hesitation.Read full review
A good, cheap receiver, but with a lousy FM modulator; unusable! Because it has an audio output jack, works well with headphones or something with an 'audio' input. 5 present buttons limit the number of 'favorites', and it doesn't record. Needs an external antenna, but very portable. For the money, it's a good way to receive satellite on a car radio, without wiring an installation.

The Audiovox SNAP receiver is a godsend for people who want satellite radio in their vehicles and wish to install it themselves easily. It works well and is low cost to purchase and its reception rivals factory-equipped/OEM XM radios. It was simple to install, and its owners manuals provide great instructions for setup. The only criticism I have for it is that the included antenna's cable length may be too short for some installations...I needed to purchase another XM antenna for my truck so I could conceal it below my rear roof-mounted center stop signal and route the cable to my dashboard. Perhaps a longer cable or an extension cable could be provided with the unit's antenna. I use its FM transmitter to send its signal to my FM radio, and it does a very fine job. I am very satisfied with this unit to date.Read full review
Super easy install. I wanted a XM radio that I could switch between my two vehicles. Very easy install in my M-B E500 (with out spending $800 to add XM to my Command unit). Also works great in my Honda Element. Only used the Aux not the FM turner, no need in either vehicle. Sound quality is decent and very easy set-up.

Very easy to install and setup. Very easy to operate. The channel jog dial is smooth and the detents evenly spaced and clicks in very solid. I was worried I might bump the dial and cause it to change channel but that turns out not to be an issue at all. There are only 2 issues that I have ran into. 1) The SNAP has a weak FM transmitter but that is not the fault of the unit. the FCC limits the power a device like this can send with. I spent the 8 bucks and bought a 3rd party SNAP antenna splitter. you plug the car antenna into the splitter and the splitter into the car radio then the long FM wire you plug into the SNAP's FM jack. I have no issues with a weak signal and as I drive cross country for my job, local radio stations can't override the SNAP's signal. Perfect solution. 2) the display does not scroll the channel info. Whatever fits on screen is it, it swaps between 2 screens of channel info (channel name, artist and contact info if listening to a hosted show (For example: Howard Stern). However, each info screen, whatever fits is all it displays, often the artist name and or song title is cut off. I looked for a setting to possible enable scrolling but there was none. Other info: The cigarette lighter end inserts very tightly into the car's lighter plug. No movement at all after inserted. Yo have to wiggle and use some muscle to pull it back out. I have had no issues removing it (to store in the glove box, I don't want it to get stolen) and reinserting it every day. It remains as snug today as when I first inserted it. XM Account: I bought a second SNAP antenna and installed that in my other car and now I can move the SNAP from car to car as needed. I only need one XM account now I transferred the account from my car to the SNAP on-line and cost me nothing additional. I then canceled the second XM account I had on my second car. saving that monthly charge. THE SNAP actually paid for itself already with the money I saved from going down to one XM account I hope this help someone.Read full review

I like it. It is compact, easy to install and easy to use with the rotary channel selector. I bought this model because of its portability. By purchasing another antenna kit that I can leave on my boat, I plan to alternate using this in my car and my boat. It is possible to have a clean connection without dangling wires in your vehicle. I would recommend having a direct to the auto FM or car stereo aux connection, because with the over the air FM method there was interference and static. With only 5 station preselects, I have saved stations in different categories. I can go to a saved station and with a quick left or right twist of the channel selector, go to other stations immediately adjacent to the ones I have saved in the preselects.
Was supposed to be a DEMO model but was actually brand new. Works exactly like it should.

This is Very Easy to Use. I got mine the Trial Period was already Lapsed. A good thing since I did not have to wait for the Trial Period to end before I could Activate the Unit. I found out thru a friend that he was unable to Activate his until the Trial Period ended...so he was on the road when the Trial Expired he had to pull off and Call Sirius in order to activate it Again...he was on a road trip so he needed his ASAP Aside From this minor issue the unit itself is very Easy to understand. I was able to hook this up to my moms Saturn ION in no time Flat and I removed the Stock Antenna so she does not confuse the Radio with the SIRIUS radio. Took 15 minutes (including the call to activate on the Sirius WEBSITE) I also noted that the radio is also LOUDER and Stronger sound wise as if I hooked up an amp to the stock GM/Saturn Radio/cd for some reason it is more powerful than before VERY NOTICEABLE so thank you SIRIUS!
