Dr. Dean Ornish cookbook has recipes to reduce the amount of fat in our diet to 10% of total calories. His studies have shown that level is required to reverse the effect of plaque buildup in our arteries. After 3 weeks on the program, I lost a few pounds but best of all had energy all day long and felt good! I loved eating the food in the cookbook so probably was overeating. Gave my original cookbook to my daughter and found I couldn't do without it so ordered another. Recommend the book very highly!! Ken

I had high hopes that this book would have some really great low/no fat recipes. Unfortunately those hopes were not to be. After trying a few of the recipes I found them to be not so tasty. I may give up on trying to cook anything more from this book.
