The Sigma 2.0x lens helps increase a shot's magnification without a separate bulky lense. This particular Sigma camera lens works by placing it in between the first lens and the camera body. Two times the magnification power allows the APO DG lens to double the amount of the focal length, making it easy to zoom in for the perfect close-ups. Its apochromatic (APO) feature prevents chromatic aberration, which occurs when a regular lens picks up color in only certain portions of the shot. The Sigma 2.0x lens also has a designation (DG) for digital SLR cameras for even light distribution throughout every shot. Having an APO DG lens makes it possible to make the clearest shots possible in almost all amounts of natural light. This Sigma camera lens is lightweight, and is perfect for traveling and on-the-go.
