The "Delectables For All Seasons" description on the cover promises a lot, but the book doesnt deliver on that promise. The artwork in the book is quite lovely, and it is a pretty book, but the majority of the book is taken up with these artistic colored drawings. Very few recipes in the book, and the ones that are given are tilted at an angle, which is annoying. A time line and some description of the history of tea and a disconnected rambling of facts about tea. Something that was interesting was a brief (very brief) description of how to read tea leaves. I would like to have seen more about that. The text is hand lettered, which makes it somewhat hard to read. Overall, I found the book to be disappointing. Don't expect more than a pretty picture book to look at.Read full review
