these tubes sound so nice in my Marshall 18w . they replaced the factory installed which in retrospect tried to sound too much like the stereotypical "Marshall Stack" sound. these tubes made the the amp more musical in a vintage sounding way. there was more range and even growled in a pleasing manner.
