Best Photo, Slide, Film scanner i own
i have bought a few different types of scanners over the years and when i moved to windows 8.1 my old scanner no longer worked for me. this new scanner works perfect and it was very easy to set up and to use. i have used it so far to scan over 300 slides and 100 photos and about 20 or so film scans. well worth the price and i say get this one you will not be sorry.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Could not get it to set up
the program download was easy, but when it came time to use the program, a message appeared " computer cannot connect with camera". Not sure what the problem is. Still messing with it. You Get What You Pay For
Purchased to scan negatives. System was easy to set up and well packaged. Everything about the product was above expectation except for the final output which is the quality of the negatives. I was very disappointed since the color and resolution was not even close. The images could not be focused and the subjects unrecognizable. I finally went ahead and packed it away after using it several times with similar results. I went ahead and purchased a scanner that was designed for negatives and slides and I am very pleased with the results. Blue tint on most of the pictures when scanned to computer
Not too pleased with the product. Took a couple of hours to install it. Not bad scanning process but most of my slides came out with a blue tint to them although some came out with natural colors as was on my slides. Googled why blue tint and was told how to correct this blue tint problem. When looked up the product, the blog was full of people who had the blue tint problem and were going to take it back to where they got it - mainly at Kohl's. So working with my computer guy to see if he can fix the problem. If not will have to come up with another solution/product as to have then done at a processing place would cost me a bundle of money.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished

it's okay
I couldn't get it to work on my computer it set up fine but got some camera error. I did manage to get it onto my old xp pc though . I haven't tried to use it much only used it enough to test it out the blue tint seems to mainly be when I clicked on Slide when I was using my negatives , I exited reopened and it was okay. I think there could be easier processes but if you just want to have them all in one place scanned on then it serves it's purpose. Paint Shop can probably help with the color issues , if you aren't too picky it serves it's purpose . It's okay for the price
This item works well and all of the components are put together with ease. The only drawback is the inability to adjust the brightness of the pics on the included software. Some of my slides transferred over and were too bright to see faces. I had to fix it by placing the jpegs into another photo editor. But still, it worked great. Not stellar results
I'm a bit disappointed with the unit. I guess I was expecting it to copy the slides and have them look great but the resoulution isn't great and the color is often not right. I'm trying to fix the files up in a photo editor but the scanner usually makes the scan too light and that's harder to fix than if they were too dark.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Very great quality photos for an inexpensive price!
This is the second unit I have purchased. Both work well. I do have some problems with this new unit working well with any operating system but it does work, it could very well be a problem with the computer itself and not the unit. I did swap out the old unit for the new and still no difference so I think it may be the computer and not the converter. For the price these things work quite well. I know there are much more expensive units to be had online but this does the job if you're just wanting to get your family photos digitized in some fashion.
