I love this little Amp...Works great running my stereo speakers for my computer..This is my 2ED one. The first 1 lasted for 3 years and developed a buzzing sound So I looked on line for something similar to this one PTAU45 and had no luck so I went back to the (Pyle PTu45 )... Its a nice little amp with a nice bass sound I don't like the flashing blue lights to the beat of the rhythm..? why..? ,%&*$?.. Other then that its a nice Amp. for the price.... Thanks Dave

It works fine and has some nice features, but is not very powerful, as one would expect from a small amp like this. 2 x 120W for sure it isn't by any useful measure. 2 x 20W maybe. The build quality is ok.

It is compact. Fits anywhere if you are limited for space. Good power. I run 8 ohms Acoustic Audio speakers for my small TV and it does the job well. Also I run my laptop out of it. The tone controls are excellent.

The PTAU45 amp worked well with plenty of clean volume and good tone. I use a Pyle PHA40 headphone amp with it as most ..tablets , phones and laptops do not have very good output volume(this means your amp is starved for enough input signal). This simple idea lets the PTAU45 run like a much more expensive amp. I almost never do a review on products but this amp with a good set of speakers and the pre amp boost may surprise you. You can also use the tape out on the back to a powered sub. ...I did.

Powerful, compact, and Chinese manufactured for Pyle, this amp delivers all that MOST of what is promised. I purchased this to power a pair of 100amp KLH speakers from a mp3 and from the computer sound card in lieu of the volume challenged desktop amp I was using previously. A previous unit demonstrated a dead left channel, this one is weak but not quite dead. Need to compensate with the balance knob. It's starting to cost more to ship units back for warranty. Keeping this one. Won't buy another like it. The parent company service rep answered the phone (after four attempts to get past the digital operator) with "Yeah?". Not "Can I help you" or "[Company name], this is [rep name]". This was a clue for me about the company.
Works perfectly, great inexpensive option for playing music from a cell phone and other components on non powered stereo speakers

Was looking for something to replace my 40+ year old Pioneer SX626 stereo amp that I was using in my studio for computer speakers. It had died and I was looking for something simple and compact that would provide enough power to run my Sony bookshelf speakers. This fit the bill perfectly. It's plenty loud (although I don't turn it up for what I use it for), is very compact, love the control layout design and a great "bang for the buck".....haven't looked back since installing it. Would buy it again!

If you have ever purchased one the lower end models of this Pyle you probably had to throw it away after the speaker connectors on the back of it fell of rendering it useless. This model uses the screw down method to attach speakers wires so will not break so easily.

At 120 watts per channel, I should be able to blow the two speakers out but is just enough volume..

I had my doubts when I saw the price. But this amp really works well. We've had it in service for less than two weeks so we have no idea how long it will last. But at its price, one could almost consider it a disposable amplifier. It's heavy, suggesting use of old-fashioned components and thus, likely, the low price. But no tubes, at least!
