I've recently purchased two Onkyo A-5 integrated amplifiers and am very impressed with the build quality and sound. The moment you lift an A-5 you realize it's not a cheap amp as it's quite heavy. Looking inside and seeing the large power transformer and capacitors is further indication Onkyo was not skimping on quality. An added benefit is these amps are easy to work on too. The A-5 amp sounds open and musical with plenty of power and very solid bass. No disappointments here, I was very impressed. Although I'll likely refurbish and sell one of the two A-5 amplifiers, the other one isn't going anywhere and will likely become the cornerstone of a system in my den or living room. Definitely a nice looking and sounding integrated amp!

I have one of these in my sunroom, hooked to a Hisense 43"4K, an Oppo Bluray player and a pair of Elac B6s on 24" stands. What I like about the Onkyo is its simplicity, good sound and built-in DAC. The Elac speakers sound amazing with this as well. And my Roku provides me will all the streaming music and video I'll ever need (HDMI 2.0 to TV), Optical Digital out to Onkyo. As an old audiophile ( using state of the art Phonak hearing aids), I appreciate just how good a small system can sound.
