I have owned this amp, (loved it), and presently own an M2, (love it even more). Stereo wise though, I'm pushing my Polk Lsi-15s with a Nakamichi PA-7 Mkll amp, Yamaha C2 preamp, Nakamichi LX-5 tape deck & a B&O Beogram 3000, 1972 style, turntable. The M4 is a great amplifier. Very musical, especially tied in with a nice lil pre amp. Do the web search, and you will find a great following for this lil baby and his bigger Brother, the M2, and much respect as well. Well worth the price if it is clean, with good caps. May need recalibrating as well for maximum definition.

Solid, heavy, well-built and, most importantly, excellent sonic qualities. One of my favorite amps in this price range from the period.
