Really great unit to supplement lighting position. Kicker and background are what I use most for these. My Canon ETTL system I use as the main light. The auto exposure control on the Sunpak is really good for quick setup. The manual variable power is great when you need more control and repeat-ability. I trigger the unit using cheap Yongnuo triggers, which mounts on the hotshoe of the Sunpak. You can pretty much point the flash anywhere, with the flash head rotation, and the unit stable that you can place just about anywhere there is a flat surface.
How can you beat getting variable power built in with a flash that is several years old. This baby rocks and can be adapted in various ways.Sunpak knows what they are doing when it comes to flashes!!
I am very happy with my purchase. Works fine. Saw one at a flea market with an old Canon 35mm camera for $50.
works
