The product was less than satisfactory. It did not work - neither receiving either AM or FM signals, the CD section slipped and produced strange noises, and the tape didn't work at all. After spending $10 on 8 D cell batteries and assembling all that needed to be put together, I ended up with a machine that just didn't work. Low quality and something no other intelligent consumer should ever buy for themselves. A word-to-the-wise "should be sufficient".

Not sure why the review is poor. This is actually a nice little boombox. The quality is good. I mean, it won't rock an auditorium, but it will do just fine on the backyard deck for a BBQ. I use mine all the time. General reviews on other sites are pretty good too.
